I’ve made lists of resolutions or goals for the past several years, but I already have a list of things to do before my 30th birthday, which will take me the best part of the year. Instead of creating yet another set of items to check off, I thought I’d follow the lead of several other fabulous bloggers and give myself an inspiration word or personal mantra for the year.
This year, I choose to be joyful.
In 2010, I will approach my days as joyfully as possible. I will pursue happiness with a vengeance. I will consider joy to be an accomplishment of its own.

that’s a great goal. i had a similar one for the month of december, and i found that once i DECIDED to be in a good mood, i was just able to, even when less-than-great stuff happened. cultivating joy is a worthwhile cause; i’m 100% behind you!!
