The internet has been Full of Awesome this week, and I want to share. Ready set go!
This wedding website is the most beautifully designed, most romantic website I’ve ever seen. SWOON. (Fair warning: you may cry.)
I’m obsessed with the International Orange project. This project celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge, and “international orange” is the name of the bridge’s color. Did you know that? I didn’t, until this year. At any rate, Stephanie Syjuco has created this amazing shop, where – get this – nothing is for sale. And the items in the shop celebrate International Orange. I’m lusting after the custom-colored Heath wares, which no one will ever be able to buy. What an amazing idea!
One of my “dream mentors” is Michael Kaiser, the executive director of the Kennedy Center. He writes a once-weekly essay for Huffington Post, and his most recent one really resonated with me. This man is one heck of a brilliant arts administrator!
Can we please have a movie night, so I can make one of these???
I loved this comic about making friends, and forcing yourself out of your comfort zone. I’m not great at stepping outside of my comfort bubble with people these days, and I am really glad I read this.
Updated to add: This is one of the cutest, funniest things I have ever heard. A public radio reporter interviews his two little girls, after one gives the other the worst haircut ever.
So, that’s about where I am right now. Tomorrow night, we have a fantastic concert happening at work, and I’ll likely be here until 1 a.m. or so. And then, the rest of the weekend will be encompassed by shopping, packing, and shipping various items for our upcoming trips. I likely won’t check in tomorrow, so I hope you have a really wonderful weekend, friends!
